Doing better on the jet lag. In bed at 959, asleep at 10pm. Up at 520am. Made cupcakes for Professors birthday (we're going to a bonfire tomorrow night). They're butter pecan flavored (his fav ice cream). Hope they'll turn out. Thankfully, by the time we get to the bonfire, the group will have been drinking most of the day, so no one will notice if they are carpy. We're also bringing Gluhwein (warm wine). Try it !
Still monitoring the band. Not really doing that much better with the killer shoulder pain (and I am taking tiny bites, chewing the mush food to death, waiting etc). I'm no martyr ... if I need an unfill - I'm doing it. And not that money should come into the pic when it comes to my health (see: surgery bills) - my no cost treatments ended yesterday. The office manager did tell me (and I made her repeat it) - they don't charge for unfills. Note, I do not trust (or care for) this woman. We'll see ... I have to remember that every one is different, every day with every food.
I'm torn with the World Series. I've made some AWESOME friends who are Texas Rangers fans (oh you know who you are!) but my nephew and finance live in St. Louis so all no matter who wins - I'll be :)
Coco is doing well on her new regiment of being a lap cat. I think the heat of my laptop helps. She wiggles the laptop off my lap and then has settled in for the last two nights. Oops. Tomorrow is Caturday, not today.
The carpool galpal has called ... I'm off !

When was the fill again? tuesday?
ReplyDeleteI should have had you come over this morning and helped me pack with all of your energy!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't need an unfill but you have to do what is right for you and your band.
Hope your shoulder pain goes away soon! As well as the jet-lag!!! LoL
ReplyDeleteOh blah, an unfill. I have not had that experience yet. I do hope your doc can take out just a smidge for you! As for your jet lag, try staying up later for a night or two. When I return to the states, I stay up until 11:30 or midnight for the first two nights, and I get right on schedule. Yeah, staying up when I am exhausted is el stinko, but a week of feeling almost hung over without the enjoyment of booze beforehand is even worse!
ReplyDeleteI've had warm wine once at an Octoberfest and I loved it! Haven't been able to find it since.
ReplyDeleteAs for the shoulder pain, once I've irritated it, it takes a few days to wear off. So give it a little bit of time. Hope it feels better soon because I know it sucks.
I absolutely LOVE warm wine!! But then again, I love wine!!
ReplyDeleteCould be your pouch just needs to calm a bit - I couldn't eat for days after my fill - thought I made a horrible mistake! I would give it a few more days of soft stuff before you decide...
Have a great weekend!
Yummy... recipe? :D
ReplyDeleteOkay I love that motto: I can do anything for 8 hours! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Ranger's support Cece! :)
