Ten Things Thursday

I am totally copying Laura’s Ten Thing Thursday this week.  


1.  I love that Ten Things Thursday coincides with my bandiversary :)   Super fast 7 weeks :0


2.  I copied Robyn's first sentence and I think I like her font better than mine :)    (http://robynnest-robyn.blogspot.com)


3.  Spoke to a co-worker friend last night re: going back to work on Monday.  Don't make me go. 


4.  New dishwasher was delivered today - need to keep job to pay for the darn thing (and for cat food).


5.  Heard from a recruiter today regarding the phone interview from last week.  Apparently, the hiring manager does want to meet with me.  


6.  I would not have been able to interview 30 lbs ago (when I started this journey) so I am thankful that I now have some confidence back.


7.  Treated myself with permanent eye-liner after I had surgery.  Last night was the 'Perfecting Appointment'.  I love the sound of that: Perfecting Appointment.


8.  Thanks to Robyn and Laura, I am making some homemade chix nachos for dinner.


9.  I was a waitress for 10000000000 years and still use waitress lingo (back in the day when waitress handwrote your order and gave it to a cook).  See: chix above.


10.  Those nachos are not going to make themselves ... where is that dinner fairy I ordered?

    I am super jealous of your permanent eye-liner. I get my brows and lashes dyed every four weeks and it drives me batty!! Confession: it has been 6 weeks since my last dye job and it shows... fiancée went looking for my brows and cant find them.... I am venturing into the land of albino.

    Ooh, let us see the permanent make-up-ness. :) Does it hurt?

    Also, can't believe you had 2 months off work after surgery - that's awesome! lol

    I always use the "chix" abbreviation. I just love the way it looks.

    I'm sorry you have to go back to work on Monday, it's one of those necessary evil things. I'm hating my job right now. Between the foot and pregnancy I just want to sleep all the time.

    I was a waitress for a kazillion years too!!! Cheers to your waitstaff!!! I kinda miss it sometimes. Then I kinda don't.

    I use 'chx' for chicken.

    And can I please put in a ticket to 86 my lack of motivation???

    I used to be a waitress and bartender at the officers club on the navy base- we always had a blast. I miss it but no way could I have kept up with my weight the last few years. So now I have a desk job and sit on my butt.
    I hope this interview goes really well for you and you don't have to go back to work and a new boss.
    I tell my dogs I have to work to buy their toys and treats all the time, they are not impressed.
