No, not a PB as I still don't have a fill in me ... but a completely disgusting feeling of being way over full ... why did I do it? why didn't I stop? oh, I just did not and still do not feel good.
Had a great day yesterday (protein shake, peanut butter on toast with cheese) until I got to dinner. Headed over to the Sweeties and picked up an order of frijoles, cheese and chips. I've had this before (as a bandster) and have always filled myself with pride (instead of chips) by breaking the chips in 2, 3 or 4 and chewing each bite to pulverization. Well, not last night ... not sure what happened but it was as if I had forgotten all of the new rules of my life (small bites, chewchewchew, pause, etc).
My first fill is on 9/9 and I can't wait. I want this tool to start working because I still don't feel that great ... not the weigh I want to spend my Labor Day weekend !
And, it's Caturday .....

Fills are a good thing! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteWell, it happens to all us - fill or no fill. Sometimes you forget and take a big bite or eat too fast, or just can't stop eating. It doesn't always end in a PB, sometimes you just feel blah and uncomfortable like you do now.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get there - be patient.
You're almost to that fill!! Ohhh, it's so easy to forget and do something "pre-band" that gets us in trouble... I feel your pain..
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific weekend!
Yup- I forget and start toaking big bites too often. Some habits die hard.
ReplyDeleteFur Child looks so darn cute.
Love your kitty! And I hear you - this always happens to me when I eat deli ham...I don't know why, I just can't seem to chew it enough. And sometimes I forget and take a big bite, and then I have total sternum pain...I've got to keep an eye on that!
ReplyDeletethe over-full feeling sucks :( I think I make it worse if I start to freak out and worry that I'm going to urp something up.
ReplyDeleteYou can still eat chips like that even with a fill (stupid sliders!). No stressing about it, just focus on how you want to eat today! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Day!
