I love to read, watch tv and movies and appreciate good writing talent. My current fav authors are: Vince Flynn, David Baldacci, Lisa Scottoline, Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwall and lots of chick-lit authors and generally anytime someone says: you HAVE to read this - I will.
I like shows like Law & Order, Revenge, The Tudors, Big Love, Seifeld, Frasier, etc. Shows with good writing.
I don't understand all of the trash reality shows when there has got to be a gabillion young (and old) writers just waiting to be discovered, waiting for their break. I think it's a shame that the entertainment is now Snookie (or maybe their 30 mins of fame is over) and that Judge Judy makes $45 MILLION a year while a Supreme Court Justice makes $214,000 a year.
I am thankful for talented writers (and that includes you).
Amen to that! I loathe reality tv! Harlen Coben is one of my faves too. We better not talk books next weekend or I will have you drowning in suggestions!

ReplyDeleteOh I so love to read. I breezed through all of Lisa Scottoline's books last year. LOVE THEM. Some of my other favorite authors are Kristin Hannah, Jodi Picoult, Jennifer Weiner. Have you read any of them?
