No scale for me for 8 days !!

Thursday is my official weigh in day.  I HAD been weighing daily then moving to every other and now I'm weighing when I feel like it.  As of today, I am down 25 pounds, which is finally lower than the weight I was when I went to my Primary Care Doc to start this up-down-in-out-left-right-crazy-stable journey of WLS (February 10).

I'm happy, I'm doing the right things - please find me on myfitnesspal.com (Cecelou03@gmail.com) - so there is no need to screw it up my stepping on the scale for the next 8 days.

I also found what I think I want my goal weight to be.  On Facebook (oh, and if you want to find me there too ... please let me know ... although I don't talk WLS surgery - mostly Coco, the precious niece and nephew and the Sweetie) someone gave me a year and you were suppose to say a few things about what was happening at that time.  My year was 1997.  I said:

My age was : 33
I was co-owner in Falcon Cold Forming, Inc. (RIP)
Was a raging workaholic (now I shudder at the thought)
Was at the Red Wings Stanley Cup Playoff - game 4 (Sweep - Red Wings over Philadelphia)
Drove a green Camero
Was at my lowest adult weight

So I went and found a photo of me at that Red Wings game.  I looked good.  Not even skinny - probably still obese but I liked the way I look ... so that's what I've come up with.  A size 10.

Going to get my nails done (I'm desperate), seeing Harry Potter - part 2 with my Mom, picking up a friends mail, giving a massage and treading water for 60 minutes.  This is my kind of day :)

  1. Good for you for finding a picture that you like yourself at. I think we get so caught up with numbers. Have a great day! Sounds like it will be a good one.

  2. Loved the new Harry Potter!

I'd love to be a size 10 again. I kinda remember being there and thinking I was fat. Little did I know...

  3. Sounds like you are doing super, Cece! Good for you for staying off the scale! It makes it much easier to ride out the inevitable ups and downs we have as women. You go girl!

  7. I still go to the scale every morning. Eventually I know I'm going to have to go to once a week though. Your weight loss is awesome. In 1997 (Specifically on 9/7/97, I was in a rollover car accident. I love random thing like that to trigger my memory! I was a sophomore in college at that time. Ahhhh...life was so much easier in college.
