Just like getting on a Ferris wheel and hearing the Ferris wheel guy say for the bazillionth time (as he clicks the bar and I say a silent prayer of thanks that the bar does not jam into my gut) ... here we go.
I've been going through this whole weight issue my entire life. Seriously, since age 6 ! I can still see myself coming home from kindergarten, eating lunch and then heading to the cracker cabinet while I watched Bewitched and Let's Make a Deal. The Ferris wheel goes round and round.
It's time for me to get off and take charge one final time. Enter Betty the lap band. Her birthday is July 21.
I've been reading about the lap band since January, taking names and kicking a**. In addition to the lap band rules, I've added a few of my own. 1) participate in Lapbandtalk.com daily (even if it's just to say thank you for sharing your story and 2) to start a blog.
So, here we go ....
