Received flowers from work yesterday. It's a little wierd because of the general dysfunction of the place. I won't bore you (yet) with that story and besides, the less I think about them - the better ! Here's a photo; I thought it was more important to get Coco in the pic rather than show the bouffiness of the flowers.
Going through the purses from the front closet project. I've always been a Coach purse whore which is funny because, on the whole, I don't care that much about other style items. Maybe that will change with the weight? Oh, and I've found two little packages of Tylenol Extra Strenght Fast Acting Non-Drowsy Sinus medication - yippee. Someone (fda? tylenol?) pulled my fav medication from their shelves and I've been going thru every drawer, make up bag, etc trying to find any 'hidden' pills ...
My Mom gave me a Dooney & Burke purse years ago and while I like the size ... it's just not for me ... are any of you ebayers? I do that in spurts and haven't in years ...
It's been weeks since I've had a cheese-it, a wheat thin or a piece of pizza. It's a miracle. Well, not so much because I really have not been hungry. I'll hear my stomach growl and then go have a shake. Yesterday was 2 shakes, a popsicle and 2 fudgsicles. No stress, no pressure, no need to eat. Yes, I see a problem here. Will probably have 1 shake and soup (with added protein) today. I've never been a big breakfast person so the water and coffee I've had so far has been fine with me.
Have follow up with surgeon tomorrow. Hopefully, the staples will come out. My questions for him: what size band do I have? how much is in there? what time period is recommended before I can do more exercise other than walking, when can I go in the pool (not swim so much - just tread water and float around) when can I get a massage, confirm what mushies are ... anything else you talked about at 1st appt after surgery?
Still having some problems with thinking, finding words, etc. Oddly enough - I'm fine with this :)

ReplyDeleteand total coach purse whore here too. I have a problem. I just sold a few to one of my hubby's co-workers, and the first thought I had was "now I have money to go to the outlet store and get a new purse!"

ReplyDeleteI just got a new purple Coach purse and I LOVE it! I sold a Dooney and Burke purse that I got as a present on Ebay and got a good amount for it. You could post the picture on your blog and someone might want to buy it.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask what size band I have. I guess I'll find out next week at my fill. I wonder if there's fluid in there? I've heard some people say they had a tiny amount at the time of surgery and some say they had none. Guess I'll find out soon enough! :)
