It seems like I do a lot of career coaching for friends and I always say: it's always nice to get the call. Even if you don't want the job. Even if you don't want the date. It's always nice to get the call (for an interview or call for a date).
Today I was at the gas station and started chatting with the guy at the next pump who was wearing a St. Maarten ballcap. He said he'd like to see me again (again??). No, I didn't want to go out with him but boy, oh boy - dating, interviewing and NSV - it's just nice to get the call.
Oh that is so super nice!! What a boost to the self esteem!!
