Before I go into my post - if you are a follower (thank you !) and I'm not following you - please leave me a comment so I can follow you as well :)
Also, I can't remember who was eating eggbeaters and needed a seasoning but I recommend Lawry's Seasoning Salt ... you really need something with eggbeaters.
Now, back to me (memememememe).
It's back - my hunger. Sadness. Yesterday, met some friends of mine (really, friends of Steve's) for b'fast yesterday. Promptly measured out my food, chit-chatted, went to Lowe's to look for a dishwasher (and walk-walk-walk - that place is huge), stopped by a bridal show (for a friend, please ... ). The B.S. was totally overwhelming with bridezilla's and after purposely parking as far away from the door as possible - I came home and Coco was waiting for me to take 'our' nap.
Note, once nap starts, she will move to 'her' blankie - the purple fuzzie. I woke up and I WAS STARVING !!
I ate protein, protein and more protein, waited 30 minutes and was still hungry !! Refused to eat any more. Went to Steve's. Still hungry !! Drank 8 oz of red wine (diet snapple was not going to work), 2 oz of chz and my lapband lasagna and then promptly passed out. Yep, the hunger was back yesterday.
I logged everything and we'll see where I land on Thr when I step back on the Stupid-Ass Piece of Plastic. It's so much easier to start the 'NOT WEIGHING MYSELF DAILY' habit after my highest day of calories since 7/6/2011. <-- this is progress, people. A weird kind of progress .... but progress, nevertheless :)

I keep hoping it's the full moon that's making me so hungry. Sadly, I think it's my de-fill! Thanks for the comment today....I feel the same way, cleaning baseboards...I definitely deserve the wine!
ReplyDeleteAny progress is good!!!! I wish I could do the not weighing daily...........sadly, I am a scale addict! Hope the hunger monster leaves your presence soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree...any progress is progress! But. Don't NOT snack. Don't graze, but if you are TRULY hungry then have a snack. If you don't it can lead to a binge later. You are doing good my wine buddy!
ReplyDeleteSounds to me you are making great choices!! Hope it shows up on the scale for you!! But you're doing great anywhoo!!
ReplyDeletedede
Sounds like you've got this weight loss thing! Hopefully the hunger subsides soon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYup, you are in Bandster Hell. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteWhen is your first fill?
You know from my blog that the hungry thing isn't fun, but it gets better. Last week's first fill of 1cc has actually really changed how I feel (good) but I wonder how long it will last? Eating is different and I'm fuller with much less. There is a light at the end....I know it's no fun though! :(
ReplyDeleteHang in Cece!!! Did you have a look at the things I emailed you? It might help...not sure. I find if I'm hungry, I'm gonna eat every 2 hours. If not, I try to push it to 3.5. This early on, pre fill, I'm just trying to listen to my body, eat the right portions and combos, and log it all down. Then when I see my fill nurse in a week, I can be more accurate. Remember, we are at the VERY beginning!! So be kind to yourself, you've already made so many changes...
ReplyDeleteBaby steps-- and you're doing great! Tell me about Lap-band Lasagna?
ReplyDeleteUgh, bandster hell hon. Sorry. Hang in by your finger nails until your first fill. Also - have protein snacks if you need them, but don't graze. Sit down and have something to eat. Just make sure you log it!
ReplyDeleteTry to treat the hunger nicely. What is lap band lasagna?
ReplyDeleteYou're in bandster hell, and for being there, you're doing well! I would have caved after 30 minutes and eaten!
ReplyDeleteBtw, yes, marinade in the enchilada sauce before cooking. And hell, I poured a bit in there even while cooking! lol
