Loving the mushies !

Yesterday my calorie count was 1000 - what are the chances of that? (1 in 1000, I would guess) which is the highest cal count I've had since two days pre-op (7/19).

And the scale said - .6   ... hysterical.  Three days of 400-600 calories and no movement and then - ta dah - movement !!

Mushies yesterday were excellent: Trader Joe's chocolate yogurt, Cece's Chile and 10 Trader Joes Sweet Potato chips (chewed to death) and then for dinner went for Mexican and had 3/4 cup of a japaleno bean dip (yes, I brought a one cup measuring cup to the restaurant), 10 chips (chewed to death) and probably 5 tiny bites of fried ice cream.  Two pretty big burps (I'm such a lady) and I was DONE !!

Between finding every bathroom everytime I walk into a store and ending the meal with a burp - I think I'm my own 3 year old.

Off with a g-friend to Caseville Michigan ... it's all I can do to NOT post a photo of the mitten that is Michigan ... have a great weekend Babes !

  1. Robyn had the same problem. I recommended to her to increase her calories over 1000 and after about a week she saw the scale start moving again. I'm a firm believer in "starvation mode" IE your body's metabolism slowing down and holding onto fat stores rather then letting you shed them.

  2. It is very frustrating to be eating so little and watching the scale do nothing! Yes, get your calories right around a 1000-1200 and it will move again. Slower then during liquids but movement down is always good.

  3. Eating too little = no weight loss. Try to eat a little more and try to get your water in. Good luck!

  6. I'm with them...eating to little is not always a good thing...you start burning muscle insstead of fat. But every week you will increase just a bit anyway! Worry about quality not quantity though!

  9. I had the exact same thing happen. It took my hubby about a week to convince me to raise my calories and then like magic the weight started coming off again...he's so smart ;)

You're doing great CeCe!! Keep up the great work!!
